Studies on Malaria in Chimpanzees

IX. The Distribution of the Pre-erythrocytic Forms of Laverania Falcipara*

The Liberian Institute of the American Foundation for Tropical Medicine, Inc., Harbel, Liberia

The distribution of the pre-erythrocytic forms of Laverania falcipara in the volume of the liver (as a whole) of the chimpanzee was found to be random.

The area distribution of pre-erythrocytic forms within the lobules was found to be random.

No pre-erythrocytic forms were found in sections of the lung, spleen or thyroid gland.
