Preservation of Eggs of Schistosoma Mansoni for the Circumoval Precipitin Test

The General Medical Research Laboratory, VA San Patricio Hospital, San Juan, Puerto Rico

Eggs of Schistosoma mansoni have been preserved by lyophilization and tested for the circumoval precipitin test. Positive reactions comparable to those of fresh eggs have been obtained.
