This paper describes the first known case of human cutaneous myiasis in Puerto Rico. Larvae of Callitroga hominivorax were found in the vicinity of an ulcerated capillary hemangioma of the skin of the neck of a 65-year-old female. The larvae were mainly located in the dermal tissues in which a dense eosinophilic leukocytic infiltration was found, accompanied by focal hemorrhages, lymphectasia, and fragmentation of the collagen bundles.
